While completing his undergraduate degree in Healthcare Management at Belmont University in Nashville, Michael worked for PhyCor Inc., a national physician practice management company. His exposure to numerous company departments and his unique opportunity to shadow upper-level management, gave him a first hand view of the demands of healthcare and an understanding of what makes certain people, rather than others, successful.
Upon graduation, Michael went to work as an outside Sales Executive, where he was responsible for selling services in electronic billing, marketing and medical records to the Physician Practice Management industry.
In February 2004, Michael took the bold step of changing careers and entering the search and recruitment industry. Michael’s healthcare knowledge, passion to help others and networking abilities have proven to be valuable assets to our organization, our clients and our candidates.
You will find Michael fly-fishing or hunting when not spending time with his wife Emily and their young sons Hudson and Wyatt.
